This was my home away from home for 2 weeks. I can't say enough about the ladies up front...Kayla, Vee, Cindy and Yvette were all awesome and always had a smile on their faces. The room was very clean and maintenance was on top of small request. I will be staying here again soon and for any future visits to the area. Thank you for being a great team!
I have to say, the staff was really friendly and super helpful. They were always there to make check-in and check-out a breeze, making you feel really well taken care of. The rooms were spotless and kept in excellent shape, and they had everything you needed.
If you are reading this review, just like me, you might have noticed that a lot of hotels in the Austin area have 4+ star reviews, but when you look at the most recent reviews, it's mostly 1-star. From my recent stay, this hotel deserves its 4+ review. We reserved the one-bedroom king, and it was very nice. No complaints at all!
Candlewood Suites accommodated our family after we left a nearby hotel due to filthy room with hairs all on the floor & on the bedsheets. Cindy and Vee at the front desk provided the best customer service. And, the rooms were VERY clean, roomy, and had everything we needed at our fingertips! We will definitely stay here again when we come visit family in the area!!
By the time I got to this hotel, it had been a bad day to say the least. I wasn’t feeling good and from a restaurant I had to have my car towed to the hotel. A lady behind the desk named Vee Checked me in,. I hope y’all are blessed enough to meet this woman. She is an angel! She went up and beyond to help me, Listen to me and understand I was having a pretty hard day and she actually cared. I believe she is probably one of Nicest person At a Front Desk position in a hotel! She actually really truly cares! Also the rooms are so clean. It’s a really neat place. I feel lucky to have chosen this hotel to stay in.
After a long 18 hour drive, my bf & I were ready to check into our hotel next door but we came into chaos (their fire alarm was malfunctioning, for the 3rd night in a row said other guests & some were stuck in the elevator). We canceled asap & came here to Candlewood where Vee was so kind & helpful - even with it being last minute and 1030PM on Christmas. She made sure we had everything we needed & the check in was so quick and easy. Would definitely stay here next time we’re in TX!
The room was spacious and included a reclining chair and a small kitchen, which was very convenient. Unfortunately, for the price, breakfast was not included. The staff were very helpful when our television wasn’t working. The pool seemed to be rarely used, which might explain why it wasn’t very clean when I went for a swim. On the positive side, the laundry machines were complimentary, which was a nice perk.
Candlewood suites in Buda is phenomenal. I have never had a bad experience with the Candlewood brand, and this place is no different. My only critique is the par maintenance of guest laundry facilities. It is rare to stay at a hotel without out of order laundry machines. Buda had 2 out of 4 washing machines out of order. They are still meeting expectations here in Buda.
